Note:
+ & - Sizing.
The proper hose clamp, and coupler match is crucial in forming a proper joint. T-Bolt Hose clamps do not have the same dynamic range as typical screw style hose clamps ( only 7-8mm travel max ! ) , making it more important to select the correct size. Silicone couplers are flexible enough to use on tubing that is up to 10% larger or smaller than the rated internal dia. Two different T-bolt clamps can therefore be specified for one coupling dia. depending on how the coupler fits over the tubing. This is where the + & - designations become important. If your coupler fits loosely, select the TiAL Clamp with the ( - ) designation, as it will provide you with more range when securing the clamp on a smaller tube end. On the other hand, if your silicone hose fits tightly and you had to "stretch" the coupler over your tube end, then select the TiAL clamp with the ( + ) designation. When in doubt select ( + ) designation.

Additionally all the I.D's and O.D's of the Hoses are listed, and in some cases wall thickness as well. You can then select the TiAL clamp that best suits your application by calculating the diameter needs your self. Select the clamp based on its nominal to max diameter.

!! Be Very cautious when tightening hose clamps. Due to the high mechanical leverage offered by the band, and fine thread pitch, crushing of the coupling and or the tubing is possible. Even before the point where any significant resistance is felt in the fastener.
